Sarah is a wife of 7 years and the mother of four children; ages 6, 4, 21 months and one due June 2013.

Sarah is a graduate of Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio and Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. She holds degrees in Theology and Religious Studies, as well as a minor in Elementary Education. Along with her Catholic upbringing, she is grateful for her experiences on these Catholic campuses. She credits her time there with providing her with wonderful ways of implementing a Catholic culture into a community. She attempts to bring that same spirit and excitement for the Faith into her home.

Sarah has always loved to write. As a child she could be found writing letters to relatives, creating a family newspaper, or typing up children’s books. Thankfully, her mother encouraged her creativity and kept plenty of scrap paper and supplies around the house! She continues to write at The Happy Resourceful Home where she reflects on her domestic adventures, her attempts at cheerful motherhood, her love of the Catholic faith, and her knack for finding the most efficient and oftentimes attractive way to organize and run a home.
