Stories for the Homeschool Heart Book Giveaway

by Angie on October 22, 2010

Stories for the Homeschool HeartI’m really excited today that we’re able to give away one copy of the new book Stories for the Homeschool Heart (by Catholic author and speaker Patti Maguire Armstrong and Catholic columnist Theresa Thomas) to one of our wonderful readers.  Thank you to Bezalel Books (publisher of the book) for making this giveaway possible!

In addition to the two amazing women who wrote the book and worked so hard on giving birth to it, the book is filled with stories from many well known Catholic writers/bloggers – many of whom are also members of Catholic Mothers Online.  I am also pleased to share that I, personally, also have a story in the book about how we were led (truly by God) to homeschooling.

You can read lots of great reviews about Stories for the Homeschool Heart here.

If you would like to win a copy of Stories for the Homeschool Heart, just leave a comment (one comment per person please) and share why you hope to win a copy.

The winner will be randomly chosen from comments that are left by Wednesday, October 27th at 11:59 pm EST. Winner will be announced Friday, October 29th.

Although I am in my 13th year of homeschooling, reading encouraging books is always good for one’s outlook.. esp as we head into winter

I would LOVE to win this – it sounds like it is exactly what I’ve been looking for (homeschooling from a Catholic perspective) to help my husband and I to discern (and come to an agreement) whether homeschooling is right for our family or not. Thanks so much for this opportunity!

It would be great to win this book. I have been homeschooling for five years and rarely find many homeschooling books from a Catholic perspectives.

I have been homeschooling for 3 years and I could really use some insperation and support. I feel called by God to homeschool but just never feel like I am doing things the right way, much less not screwing my kids up. I would LOVE to win this book. Thanks and God bless!

I would enjoy receiving a copy of “Stories of the Homeschool Heart” because I will use it in my ‘public’ classroom. Many students do not get exposed to the pleasures of basic, fabulous stories.

This looks like a great read. Here in the bible-belt it’s hard to come by good Catholic literature. This would be a welcome treat for my little library!

I’m always looking for books that give me perspective on homeschooling. I actually have this one on my Christmas list!

I would love to win a copy to help us discern whether we, too, are called to homeschool our children.

I am new to homeschooling (about 8 weeks under my belt)! I know that I have more to learn and experience and there is so much to gain from the stories and experiences of seasoned homeschooling moms. You can not help but be blessed by these women!

This sounds like a great book, thank you for the giveaway!
I’d love to win because it always encourages me to learn about other homeschoolers, particularly those who do so for religious reasons and feel led to homeschool.

Hi would love to win this book as I am currently attempting to preschool-homeschool my four year old and am seriously considering homeschooling her next year for kindergarten. She has autism. I could use all the support and spiritual guidance I can get!

I would love to win a copy of this book. My husband and I have three boys and I’m in the process of discerning whether or not I will home school them. None of them are school age yet but I’m in the process of researching and trying to figure this all out. We are devout Catholics and want to raise our boys in the faith while building family unity. Thank you for this opportunity!
